Linda L. Davis, MSW, provides wellness services at our Center.  As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Linda practiced as a holistic psychotherapist for over 30 years ultimately transitioning into her current integrated approach to teaching health and well-being for mind, body and spirit.

These days Linda works as a Certified Yoga and T'ai Chi Instructor and Mindfulness Meditation Teacher regularly offering workshops, classes and retreats in Sautee Nacoochee, GA. and nearby.

Linda specializes in:

  • Wellness programs for seniors including: Senior Yoga over 50, T'ai chi Exercise and Chair Yoga as well as Conscious Aging classes (coming soon).

  • Programs (for all ages) focused on learning to Relax and Deeply Rest: including Mindfulness coaching, Yoga and Mindfulness for anxiety or depression, Restorative Yoga, Breath Awareness and Yoga Nidra meditation (offered as individual  sessions, workshops and retreats of varying lengths.

  • Linda also provides Personal Wellness Coaching and Counseling in her practice, both in her office and by phone, email or skype.

Thursdays: 11:00 - 12:00 Yoga over 50

The Fourth Sunday of each Month: 3 - 5, Soulful Sundays -
a special mini-retreat for women to rest, relax and restore.

Linda holds degrees in Psychology and Clinical Social Work.  She is considered an expert in mind/body health and wellness, particularly in the areas of anxiety, phobias and stress relief.  She has advanced clinical training in Art and Creative Therapies, Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy, NLP, Hypnosis and Guided Imagery. Her Yoga Teacher training, completed in 1998, was though Integrative Yoga Therapy and she has advanced teaching certifications in Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Linda has been an avid student, practitioner and teacher of Hatha Yoga, T'ai Chi, Qi Gong, Buddhist psychology and Mindfulness (Vipassana) Meditation and Yoga Nidra Meditation for many years. She blends the wisdom and skills gained from these ancient traditions with her conventional clinical training to suit the needs of each client in discovering the most helpful avenues to renewed health and balance.
